butterdwm: dwm-setup has a new name, a settings panel, and no more recompile ritual
Six weeks ago dwm-setup was a shell script, config.def.h, sxhkd and a bar. Today it is called butterdwm, and the way you configure it has changed completely.
The new name
dwm-setup is now butterdwm. Pronounced ābuttered wmā. Making sure you're not a bot!
ā-setupā described the installer, and the installer is the least interesting thing in the repo now. Nobody calls the toast ābutter-setupā. There are also a few hundred repos called dwm-setup and all of them are somebodyās dotfiles. There is one butterdwm, and it sits in the family with Butterbian, butterknife, butterrepo and butterscripts, so when you see it in the installer menu you know who to blame.
The old URL redirects for clones and the wiki. The README is trimmed to install and the three things to know. Everything else is in the wiki.
